  A VERY ATTRACTIVE BOOT FOR SPRING, SUMMER, & AUTUMN WEAR...

  The Steve Madden Men's Highline Chelsea Boot in Sand, was purchased during June of 2022 for the price of $100.00. It is now available for $86.42 (November 23, 2024).I purchased the Steve Madden Men's Highline Chelsea Boot for summer wear. Although I have sandals, I'm just not very comfortable wearing sandals around town, or city. These boots are light and well constructed. The are extremely comfortable and extremely attractive in the sand color. However, they do require cleaning at regular intevals to maintain the very attractive appearance. The light colored stitching around the welt is an atteactive accent to a very attractive piece of footwear.I have been wearing these boots for 3 seasons now without noticing any impending defect. Even at the relatively high price for this boot, I consider it a rather prudent purchase.Ver másVer menos

  Taupe color not as pictured---it's BETTER!

  The "taupe suede" boot, as pictured on my pc monitor, appears more of a reddish taupe. (Taupe is a mix of tans and grays.) The actual color of these boots is a light grayish tan, more like a grayish stone color. Which is actually BETTER than the color pictured because stone-taupe goes with nearly every color pants and outfit. Very neutral. Gray enough to go with black or gray jeans, blue jeans, faded blue jeans, and tan enough to go with a range of khaki to dark brown pants. Very versatile.This Chelsea boot with suede uppers and rubber sole is casual yet fashion forward.Good construction throughout, size 11M fits as expected (I'm a 10.5W or 11M shoe), arrived fast, nicely packaged, genuine suede leather uppers, easy to put on and take off, very comfortable.   Stain on right upper

  NEW PAIR UPDATE: Well, these boots suck. They didn’t come all scuffed up with stains this time, but the right boot makes a popping sound that I can physically feel. I haven’t even taken them outside yet and the few steps I’ve taken in my home are driving me crazy (check my video). And the boot seems flimsy when I walk. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be like that because it’s my first Chelsea boot, but the material looks like construction paper when I walk. Very weird and folds everywhere. I’ll have to send these back. I don’t think I’ll waste my time trying to get another pair from Steve Madden. I’d take a hard pass on these, boys.OLD REVIEW: These “new” boots have clearly been worn a decent amount and cleaned heavily because the suede is already really nappy and has minor stains upon arrival. Very very small parts of suede are actually gone because of the rigorous cleaning and scuffs. The most noticeable part and the reason I’m returning these is the stain that someone buffed out. These boots are still very presentable and look pretty nice, but I didn’t pay for a hand me down. I paid for new(ish) boots. I get that you guys can’t just toss everything that isn’t brand new and I don’t expect an entirely new boots, but I will be sending these back to hopefully receive another pair that’s in better condition. The only reason I’m sending these back is the stain on the upper of the right boot. One other glaring problem is that the tongue pokes out really far making it difficult to have the nice classic jean over the boot look that Chelsea boots give. Everything else was tolerable.
