These are great!
These scissors are great! I have a four year old Cavachon (Half Bichon, half King Charles Cavalier Spaniel) and haven’t had to take him to a groomer. I do it myself, and have a lot of help from my 14-year-old daughter, who is a natural. These scissors help with getting the best curves that I need, around his cute little muzzle and head. I could get the job done before I had these, but having the right tools to do the job, makes it better for everyone involved. These scissors make the job a little quicker, a little easier, and definitely a lot safer. If you want to save literally thousands of dollars over the life of your dog, by doing your dog’s hair yourself, I have some tips for you. First, watch a lot of YouTube videos—There’s nothing you can’t do, with the help of YouTube. Secondly, keep your clippers well lubricated and make sure they are not getting too hot for your pet. To extend the life of your tools, ensure you will be cutting/clipping clean hair/fur. Invest in a can of Cool Care, for pets’ sake! Cool Care not only lubricates your clippers, it cleans/disinfects them and cools off the blades. Make the world a cuter place, while saving a wad of cash!Ver másVer menos

Great for grooming
Used these shears for grooming the dogs. The curved shape really does well to get an even cut. Only thing I didn’t like was how small the holes are for my fingers. They’re too tight and uncomfortable after a short time.

Sharp and functional
Where do I begin? Maybe at the part that these scissors are super sharp and the curve makes it easy to trim. I am not a professional groomer, which was evident when these super sharp scissors met my puppies tongue when she stuck it out as I was trimming UNDER her chin. Slices like butter. She is fine, and I'll continue to remember these scissors forever :) I haven't done a full trim with them yet, but they seem as though they will be durable and otherwise safe to use!Ver másVer menos

They work
I’m not a groomer but trying to keep up with grooming my 2 Aussies. So far these have been a good addition to my grooming tools. The curve has helped with trimming their paws, which I struggle with.

Works at First, Then Dull — Plus a Mystery Screw
After maybe 10 uses, the scissors aren’t sharp across the whole blade.Also taking off stars for the so-called “Adjustable Screw”:1. The instructions contradict themselves. One line says “don’t change it” because it was pre-adjusted at the factory, and another says just “flick the screw with the right tool.”2. The screw isn’t a normal household type, and the instructions fail to specify either the screwdriver type or the size. From what ChatGPT can tell, it needs a two-hole spanner bit — not something most people have lying around.Ver másVer menos

For a home groomer....
these are great grooming scissors. After watching a ton of how to......grooming videos on YouTube, one of the professional groomers recommended these curved scissors, plus showed how to use them around the dog's face. I have a Havanese mutt mix and have been grooming him at home for a few years. The salon prices just kept going up to the point I could no longer afford every 6 weeks of professional salon cuts. So I invested in my own dog grooming equipment (i.e. cordless shaver, quality dog grooming shaver, thinning scissors, multiple blades, etc.) all from Amazon. I'm not the best at doing scissor work but these sure do help trim around his eyes and mouth. I also use these around his paws and between his pads to trim down the hair that the shaver can't get. The curve part of these scissors make it so much easier. These are sharp so be very cautious and attentive when using.Ver másVer menos
