Extremely good for the price.
This is the identical product a different company (starts with f, from pacific northwest) is selling for three times the price, It can also be sourced historically from another retailer with mono in the name 🤫. For the price I recommend doing some small work on it to make it funciton like a $3,000 arm.1. Take apart the two main swing joints and drench the plastic parts in silicon grease. (warning: middle joint is extremely hard to put back together because of a fitted washer that barely grabs onto it's target)2. Place a thin nylon washer in between the bolt and metal washer of the tilt joint (right behind monitor). This is by far the only bad joint of the system because it's not spring assisted so it's harder up than down, nylon smooths it out a bit.3. Once you are very sure you are happy with it's position, drill a tight hole in your desk and use the drill hole mount, it's WAY more secure and solid and you won't have your monitor tipping down at full extention anymore.Only downsides that you can't really cure is that the foot of the base only has four tiny rubber feet, so you're going to eventually have the shape of the sharp metal rim imprinted in your desk, and the tilt joint sucks.Ver másVer menos

Great hardware and value
Picked up one of these to see how it stacked up with the Herman Miller that this is a clone of and the couple other models of arms i use at work. The only discernable difference with my HM art home is the finish, a slightly rougher metallic coating vs smooth, hardware otherwise identical. Great value overall, no issues whatsoever with it in the last 3 or so years I've used them both.Included cable management tracks are great, movement range excellent, looks just as good as the original. If i get a 3rd monitor for my setup at home, def getting another one of these.Ver másVer menos

Quality stand
To start off, the stand's metal is solid and sturdy. The hardware supplied is also thick steel and won't strip, bend, or break.The assembly and mounting of the monitor to the desk was easy enough, but I encountered what some of the one star reviews had stated. The tilt up and down tension just wouldn't hold the monitor upright. The face of the monitor kept sagging toward the desk. No matter how tight I made it it would start to sag over time. I was able to fix this however.I disassembled the tilt/swivel piece that the VESA plate attaches to and inspected what might be the problem. There are two metal cone pieces on either side that are very slick to the touch almost like they are oily. I imagine they are that way to aid the tilt function of the stand. This may be over engineered or just residue from the manufacturing process. Either way, I cleaned both cone pieces with soap and water and dried them off at which point they no longer felt as slick.I reassembled the tilt/swivel head and tightened up the tension screw and viola! The monitor no longer sagged immediately or over a period of time. I also didn't have to wrench it down quite as hard, although it still requires a good amount of tension.The other tension piece for the gas spring works just fine in the middle of the arm. it may take several rotations for you to get it to where it won't drop down to the desk. My monitor is 27" curved and weighing approximately 11lbs without the included stand.Ver másVer menos

Great monitor arm at a great price! Couldn't be happier with it!
I bought this product as my first VESA mounting arm. I was in the process of moving my home office into a different room and wanted the freedom to move my monitor around while at my desk. After searching around for a while I saw this arm and decided to buy it because of the affordable price. I figured that if it turned out to be a disappointment, I would not have lost much. When i received the arm, i was very impressed with the feel and build quality. It was very easy to assemble and calibrate to my monitor, and even has the included hardware to be mounted through the desk instead of just clamped despite that not being advertised on the product page. This arm is currently holding a 34" ultrawide monitor from lg and has absolutely no issues, even though it is only advertised for monitors up to 32". There is minimal monitor shake while typing or moving about, and i attribute the little shake there is to my less-than-stellar desk. The integrated cable routing is absolutely fantastic for my setup as well. It is easy to use and really adds a professional and clean look. I would recommend this arm to anyone looking to clean up their desk setup or gain the ability to easily move your monitor around your deskVer másVer menos

A little more attention to details
I should start out by saying that I should have done this purchase a long time ago. I can get my screen exactly where I want it. Exactly.It frees up quite a bit of desk space which I need. I have a very small office (8x6) and every inch matters.Ease of installation; check. The force required to tighten the arm was significant. I thought it was defective. And it took a lot of turns to hold up my monitor.My desk has an apron about an inch from the edge of the desktop, so I had to use the drill through method. The knob provided to tighten the bolt had no threads. Just a smooth shaft. Had to go out and buy a carriage bolt/nut to finish the install.Quality of the arm is fine, and the end result is great. Great Stand
I finally decided on this arm after seeing negative reviews at the top of every monitor arm/stand I could find. I figured going with a metal one was a better bet to reduce wobble and better secure my somewhat expensive Zowie monitor. I could not be happier with my purchase, it cleared up A TON of room on my desk compared to the fat stand that came with my monitor. I don't really move my monitor at all, but I was able to place it exactly where I want it and just leave it there. It was fairly straight forward to set up even coming from someone who has no prior experience with anything like this. The only thing worth mentioning is that the part that controls the up/down tilt had to be tightened pretty tight until it would hold. I wasn't sure I was doing it right because it didn't seem to move much, but it definitely does tighten.I believe almost all the bad reviews must've just been people who got a bad unit which can be easily returned or replaced through Amazon's generous return policy. It is not fair at all to give the company no chance to fix any issues which many reviewers seemed to do. Something I can say is the arm is fairly hard to move when the arm is not anchored to anything, which is probably the cause for some of the complaints about it being too stiff. It's likely that some units are actually too tight, but for my unit, once I attached it to my desk, it's fine. It's still firm, but very easily movable with just one hand. The upper arm moves by just pulling on the monitor, but the lower one I would adjust by hand if you ever need to move it. Similarly, some reviewers just didn't read any instructions and don't understand that you have to tighten a bolt to increase the pressure of the pneumonic arm. It is not supposed to hold up the monitor out of the box, you are supposed to adjust it to suit your monitor's weight. It's not extremely obvious which way is loosening or tightening, but worst case you can just try both until it works.One thing to note is that you will need probably about an inch of clearance behind your desk, so your desk cannot be pushed flush with a wall if you are attaching this to the back. It was very easy for me to just move my desk a tiny bit forward to get around that. Just make sure you've considered that before buying in case you're unable to move your desk to accommodate. Other than that, my desk is slightly curved in the back but it still clamps on very sturdy and I have absolutely no worry that it won't hold.Overall this is a very good product and I will definitely be buying another if I decide to get another monitor. If you're on the fence because of some bad reviews like I was, I am confident you will not regret buying this.

Perfect for LG ultrawides.
I'm using this on a 34" ultrawide LG, and it was a quite a challenge finding a mount that met the requirements.Due to the recessed space for mounting, the bracket can be no larger than VESA 100x100. Most fully articulating arm mounts I've found such as this one that supports the weight of the monitor, also have brackets far to large, conversely, most mounts that do not support anything larger than VESA 100x100, only support an average of about 13lbs.The goal was to find a fully articulating mount that had a mounting bracket no larger than VESA 100x100, and could support the weight of a nearly 15lb monitor.This mount hits all of those requirements, and it works perfectly. The mount stays in place at about 2/3rds maximum tension, and is still easily maneuverable. It's quite sturdy with minimal movement on the desk translating to the mount it self, though your milage may vary on this depending on how heavy your desk is.Overall I couldn't be happier, it's perfect for those pesky LG ultrawides with the recessed places for mounting!Ver másVer menos

Avoid if you aren't 100% sure you'll like it.
Ok arm but the ability to rotate it is really bad, tongues and no way to adjust. Two stars for the shorty return service, would cost as much to send it as the item costs and Amazon would not reimburse that.

Best monitor stand I have ever used
As monitor stands goes, this one is nearly perfect. The materials are premium and the instructions are well written. With adjustment, it holds my heavy ultrawide OLED monitor with a good range of adjustment for different viewing angles. The cable management features are quality, definitely much better than other brands I have tried.The only improvement possible is to include some additional fixings for different monitors, as it was dificult to mount my ultrawide with the included screws - spacers or longer screws would be appreciated.Ver másVer menos

This arm made my work area so much better!
My work desk is huge but because my monitors stood on stands on the desk the work area was too small to be practical. Plus, a monitor on a stand cannot easily be placed in portrait orientation, which is quite handy for writing. I reviewed many arms and finally settled on this stand from VIVO as the best combination of value, appearance and usefulness. My 22" monitors weigh in at about 3kg each and they are very stable on the stands (grommet mounted) while still being very easy to reposition; and there is absolutely no wobble at all. The cable management system is also very convenient and has removed about 10' of cable from my desk. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this stand.Ver másVer menos
