Great Video Card for Non-Gamers
Gets the job done and allows me to run spreadsheets, touch-up photos, play videos, etc with no problems. An older design but still gives you a very good bang for your buck.

Great Product
Great little Graphic board for the price. If you are doing hard core games, creating animations, and CAD this card would be challenged but for internet, email, and office type operations it works great.

(Bought for a Lenovo H320 Slimline Intel i5, 6gb RAM, 250w PSU)Make sure your PSU can run this card. I bought this thinking I had a 300w PSU on my Lenovo Slimline.. it was 250w.. and you don't get the whole 250w.. more like 215 to 220 after age and wear. Over long term you could damage your card, motherboard and PSU. I purchased a 450w psu, which is More than enough for this card. in game issues such as frame drop and video lag ceased once I upgraded the PSUCard does support vga,dvi and HDMI. The smaller brackets are included for Slimline PC's. You will have to lose the VGA plug to fit card in the slot.. everything unscrews.. if you can't figure it out.. you probably shouldn't be messing with it in the first place : Take it to a tech.Card does come with overclock software.. but it's a little limited. I installed MSI's Afterburner software, which is compatible with the card. I've been able to overclock roughly 30-35% on both the core and memory clocks before instability sets in. I play games like World of Warships, Jedi Knight, World of Warcraft on either highest or next to highest quality @ roughly 30fps+ with no issues, 40+ at lower settings.This card 'could' handle more demanding games such as Battlefield 1 on decent graphic settings, depending on your PC specs, but definitely not High or Highest. I would drop a couple hundred if you're wanting to truly enjoy some of the newer more graphically demanding games as they were meant to be.All in all, I would suggest this card for most games and daily use.Ver másVer menos

Works great under linux. Get proprietary nvidia driver from nvidia for use with linux.
I changed my rating from a 1 star to a 5 star. The problem was not with the card. The cause of my system lockups was not this video card. The cause of my lockups was the nouveau open source nvidia driver for linux. If you run this card under linux, you really need to run the proprietary drivers. If you are using the open source nvidia driver, you will be shocked at how different your system performs with the proprietary nvidia driver.So, I blamed the card. I was wrong. This card performs well with linux with the proprietary nvidia driver from nvidia.Ver másVer menos

Worked to upgrade PC to Windows 10
Bought two of these to upgrade a pair of AsRock G41C-GS R2.0 motherboards. Word on the street was that these 'boards were not compatible with Windows 10 because there were no drivers for the on board video in Windows 10. You will have to verify that part for yourself as necessary.There ARE drivers for these video cards for Windows 10.One plus with a dedicated video adapter is that ALL of your RAM is now available to the operating system. You no longer share some if it with the onboard video processor.Installation is simple. Shut the PC down. Unplug power cord and other cables from back of PC. Open the case. If you are replacing an existing video card, remove that card. Install the video card in a PCIe 8 or PCI16 slot. Close the case. Reconnect all of your cords and cables. (You can skip the next step, if you are just replacing another PCIe video card.) Power the PC up and hit the DLT, F1, or whichever other key your motherboard uses to access the system bios. Navigate to the setting where you can select which video type should be the default. Change the default video type to PCIe. That is the only "tricky" part of the installation. If you run into difficulties consult with customer service for your motherboard or the system manufacturer. If windows does not find new hardware and install the appropriate drivers for you, you can go to the NVIDIA website and download the appropriate driver as an executable program and manually install the drivers.Have had these running Windows 7 for over a year and Windows 10 for the past 2 weeks without any issues at all.Ver másVer menos

Installs Easily and WORKS!
Great video card especially for the price point. Purchased this video card to allow me to run dual monitors at home. Card installed easily and in less 10 minutes. Drivers work with Windows 11. Video card was shipped well packaged and in a super fast manner. Like practically the next day. I have not tried it on graphic intensive programs so I am not sure how it will work for CAD packages or games, but I will update my review when I do.Ver másVer menos

Download the drivers and get warning that this version of windows does not support this card. Working on Win 11 but for how long ?

Got it for 3700rs, I have core 2 duo, 6gb ram, and this. I can run games like :Mgs phantom painFarcry 3, just cause 2, tomb raider 2013, Marvel vs capcom 3, ps2 games on emulator and Many more games till 2015 smoothly! Easy to install, worthy product from my point of view and needsVer másVer menos

Erreur de description
A la recherche d'une carte graphique PCIE 16x je me suis tourné vers celle-ci. Sauf que si c'est indiqué PCIEx16 en 2.0, il s'agit réellement d'une x8 uniquement.Ayant une carte mètre PCIE 16x en 1.0 je ne bénéficie pas du débit du 2.0 mais une version 16x aurait été plus rapide je pense.Il y a plusieurs vendeurs de ce type de carte moins chers. J'ai choisi celui là pour cette description avantageuse...dommage !De plus, L'emballage de la carte était bizarre avec l'autocollant de fermeture recollé avec l'ancien emplacement déchiré... Cela masquerait-il un produit reconditionné déguisé ?Cerise sur le gâteau, je n'ai pas pu vérifier je gain apportée par cette carte par rapport à celle pluguée sur ma carte mère (nForce) par contre j'ai eu des plantages très fréquents dès le départ avec les drivers à jour. Je suis revenu à des drivers plus anciens (sur le CD) et cela à l'air de se stabiliser...Je ne peux pas dire que je suis satisfait de ce produit pour le moment mais je met une mauvaise note pour les désagréments liés à l'achat.Ver másVer menos
