A must read series
This series of books are my all time favorite and I wish I could give copies of the series to all my loved ones. They show what it looks like to be a Christian. This is the second time reading through them and I couldn't put them down this time either. Vikki Kestell makes her characters so real, you feel as though you know them and expect them to come through the door at any time. What I love most though is how she makes the Lord the center and the life of these books. The various characters are in different stages of their walk with the Lord; some are unsaved, others are new believers, some are mature in their faith. Through the daily lives of the people we see how the Lord intends for His children to live - both during good times, hard times and tragedy. We're shown how the Lord woos them, saves them, and guides their daily lives; encouraging, comforting, strengthening, and disciplining them. We see to the amazing way He is in control of all things, working all things out according to His will. These books will make you angry, make you cry, make you laugh, and make amazed anew at our Lord. They'll strengthen your faith. and make you eager to do more for your Lord. To me, these books are a shining example of Christian fiction at it's very best. Once you start reading this first book in the series, you won't want to stop until you've read them all - and you'll still want more!Ver másVer menos

All God's Promises are Yes! and Amen! in Christ for those who share the heritage ...
All God’s Promises reminds me that God doesn’t belong to the past or future; The Eternal One is always present. Kari and others in the book are able to grow spiritually and live out their faith genuinely in this modern culture. God still leads His people, miracles do happen, and unfulfilled promises often suddenly come to fruition. Besides being a blessing, this book is excellent entertainment. Its fast pace and intrigue, frustrated romance, and backdrop of finance and espionage are vastly different from the early books in this series. But Kari’s “prairie heritage” finally becomes truly and personally hers, and she experiences the truth that “In God, the lost are found” for herself. This book was great as it continues with Kari and her journey to come to terms with her new family and memories of her siblings.

I enjoyed this story. I especially liked how the Scriptures were used to convey wisdom and encouragement.Kari has discovered the causes of the BLACK and can now try to right a thirty year old wrong.

A wonderful faith based series
All I can say is wow! I love the Prairie Heritage Series. The writing style of these books is great. They kept my interest and I was surprised with the twist and turns and how God answered prayers- not in the way you would expect, but in the way that was best.Ver másVer menos

From horrific pain to exuberant joy, this Prairie Heritage series has it all! This is 7th book in the Must Read series.
I absolutely love this and all the books so far in A Prairie Heritage series! I laughed and cried so much while reading All God's Promises, just as I did the entire series. In fact, it was while re-reading from book 1 through book 6 (plus the Land of Dust and Tears) that I found that book 7 had just been released and I downloaded it immediately. Now, I can hardly wait for book 8 - there WILL be a book 8, right? The characters are so realistic that I found myself praying for them! Truthfully, I have grown up with some friends who were very much like those in these books, but none were abused to the extent the rescued girls suffered. My own family was very protective, but some friends were not as fortunate as I. I loved the way Ms Kestell wove the very realistic experiences with Christ's love and guiding hand on even the hardest of rebellious sinners; I know those experiences are realistic because this blatant sinner experienced just such love and forgiveness myself.Ver másVer menos

Enjoyment with a lot of spiritual truths
I thoroughly enjoyed these books A PRAIRIE HERITAGEBooks 1_7 The story line was so captivating and so many Bibical truths throughout all books I recommend all of booksand look forward to reading many books by Vikki Kestell.

A Satisfying Conclusion
This author has most certainly kept my interest. I have seldom read a book series from beginning to end! Vikki Kestell is unapologetically a Christian, who speaks out in her novels about God’s grace and the Holy Spirit’s prompting. At times it got a bit much but I confess that I was reminded of my own early Christian journey and I’m certainly inspired to revisit my spiritual practices. I shall return to reading more of her work. I’m interested to note that some subsequent series has won awards. Thank you for taking me on this exciting journey in your books.Ver másVer menos
