In my case the Kardia proved more accurate than the more expensive handheld device
A good device and more accurate for me than the more costly handheld type. While it is accurate for AFIB detection it does not in my case detect PAC ( premature atrial contractions ) but implies there's a possible "other" type rhythm issue. I know this because I'm far more likely to exhibit PAC symptoms which mimic an Afib flare up. An ablation all but ended my Afib out of sinus rhythm issues ( so far ). But my far less serious PAC often fools me thinking I'm out of sinus rhythm and into Afib when I'm not. With me the handheld type mistakenly indicates Afib and alarms me while its only PAC. If you are reading this and worry about taking blood thinners and bleeding out the Watchman is a great option and was an easy procedure for me.Ver másVer menos
