Hey you guys !!! I loved getting this amazing set of the lego(Ferrari-F40) it was a challenge for sure. I had a great time, putting the sweet F40 together. Inspite, bc I love sports cars on top of it !!! Lol. It was worth the $$$. I make sure, my sweet lego Ferrari-F40) is safe. I really keep a good eye on it. This was an amazing build! No parts were missing. In fact, I had parts left over. The final product is very solid. I was surprised to see mini figure revolvers among the parts and further surprised to see how they were put to use. The final build is approximately one foot (12 inches) in length. When Lego uses their creativity in technical car builds, the results are usually fantastic. This set is the best I've had the pleasure of building. It is a phenomenal set piece that resides on my desk at work. I've gotten multiple compliments on it and everyone wants to touch and/or play with it. Do not let them. This build is for you. Once you build it, you will make vroom sounds. You will display it in multiple configurations depending on your mood for the day. Maybe you want to show off the engine one day and the interior the next.For less than $100, this is perhaps the best complex Lego set you can buy. I saw this on display at a Lego store while on a business trip. I convinced myself that I didn't need it but ended up ordering it a few weeks later off line. At age 31 I haven't really played with Lego's since I was a kid. I justified buying and building this though because I love the F40 and came to the realization that this is probably the only F40 I will ever be able to afford:D Everything went together smoothly. I'd recommend opening all the bags initially and just dumping them into a pile. I thought they would be in some kind of logical order where the first several pages of instructions used one bag. This would save hunting for pieces. However that is not the case. I had 3 bags with a #1 printed on them. Being an engineer was was fun to put together and appreciate how difficult it must have been to design this car. It took about 4 hours.Ver másVer menos

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son who absolutely love the Lego brand....However when we reached to almost 75% completion of the model pieces were missing...Even though they were small ones ( 2 x 1 or the 1 x1 ) it made our assembly come to a halt as these pieces were necessary for the exterior finish...I am disappointed...Mainly for not completing the car for my son's collection , and there were NO Extra parts which I needed.This was not a cheap gift for the price I paid , I was truely DISAPPOINTED..Ver másVer menos

First off the seller is fantastic, a great business transaction. These are not cheap. I’m absolutely satisfied with the business. This company is top notch. I only have 1 issue when purchasing something expensive and that is having you item packed very well. I know this package was well packaged but UPS failed on this delivery. That said item is plastic but expensive and as a fan, the boxes are just as important. Luckily this item is a gift for a child and the box is his choice. I ABSOLUTELY SHOULD HAVE ALSO ASVISED THE SHIPPING TO BE WELL PROTECTED MYSELF BUT I DIDNT. That said everything was perfect as far as buying and the item being mint. UPS needs to have a way better policy for the people. Not just get a package and deliver it. Have more pride in delivering items. All parts and book is fine the box has damage. Missing piece
Received this item for Christmas and unfortunately I had only 4ish pages left to go of the instructions only to realize a piece was missing. A red 3x2 was needed and I only had a red 4x2 left. I looked back throughout the instructions and used all the correct pieces where they were called for and where the package contents said I should have only 2 4x2's I actually had 3 and the amount of 3x2's I had in the package was one less than the package contents said I should have. First time I have seen this happen with lego before. Needless to say the car cant be finished until I can get that red 3x2 replaced somehow. The quality of the set is great minus this frustrating issue.Ver másVer menos

Great fun to assemble. A difficult engineering and design change for Lego to produce.
This was my first Lego kit of any kind. It became a great experience and a lot of fun after the initial learning phase. There are no written instructions, only a 137 page full color picture book illustrating what pieces to select, how to assemble them, and where to place them. There are 14 bags consisting of the 1200 parts. I filled 14 plastic bowls thinking there was some reason for the different bags and that I should keep the pieces separated. I still don't know the answer to that quandary. I caution you to be very careful in placing parts together - they must be exactly where they are shown in the sometimes unclear pictures. One dot off and you will have to take it apart and redo the steps. The end result is a very neat model with some functioning parts (hood opens, doors open, etc.) that you will happily place on display.Ver másVer menos

Great Lego Model
Anything that keeps my son quiet for a couple of hours is worth its weight in gold & he bought this with his birthday money, so even better!He loved building it & once built it has lots of movement, opening parts to show off to people. Great model.
