  Quality Cable

I purchased this Feb 2014. I was possibly having problems with my display connected a Plugable multi-dispaly unit. Their technical support suggested the quality of my HDMI cable may be the problem. I decided to replace it with a premium cable as they recommended. How do you find one? I'm not sure. Most of us have little experience with this computer hardware connection stuff. I do know that Startech.com stuff appear to be of high quality. I have bought many of their products. To me, their prices are a bit higher, but still definitely affordable and reasonable. Given this I I bought this cable based on their reputation. To-date, it has worked very well. It is will built and sturdy.Ver másVer menos

  Quality of product

Where I live, it is not easy to find quality products that meets my specific needs. Local retail outlets typically sell what the majority of customers want: lowest price (generally meaning lower quality), and will stock only the higher sales volume products (meaning my specific needs [ie desired length, or desired color] are seldom met. I can accept their needs for respond to what the majority of customers required; but for customers me, where suitability for my needs and high quality is high priority, finding a reliable source for electronic products and accessories therefor becomes very important. StarTech seems to be such a source. I am very happy with my purchases; both the products and the supplierVer másVer menos

it is more rigid than I would like, but that might not be an issue for ...

Worked as expected. I needed short-length HDMI cables mainly for organization purposes, and because my monitor sits right on top of my PS4, so there's no need for the standard length cables. I haven't noticed any loss in image quality from my laptop to the monitor, either. One thing to look out for is, since the cable is thick and short, it is more rigid than I would like, but that might not be an issue for you.Ver másVer menos

  Good cables. Nice and thick.

Not sure these are actually a whole entire foot. But they work fine.

  Very heavy and stiff

This cable was so stiff, but it was very difficult roll it up, which I have to do after each use. It produced a good picture and excellent sound so if you don't need to roll it up, it is a good cable. The seller was kind enough let me return it and I found a more pliable cable to fit my uses.Ver másVer menos

  Short enough and works well.

Works great. One foot isn't very long, and that's what I wanted, to avoid to many more wires around the television.
