One of the best multiples on the market.
I was looking for a multiple vitamin that does not have vitamin A in it as you do not want to keep taking the A vitamin as it stores in your body. There are plenty of foods that have vitamin A that you can benefit from without supplementing. These vitamins have saved my life. I went for a blood test and my doctor failed to let me know that not only was I deficient in Vitamin D but i was also deficient in B12 and Iron. Can't trust doctors much these days except doctors like Dr. Fuhrman who knows about nutrition. This multiple gives you low doses of vitamins that most folks are deficient in without overdosing you. Another ingredient it has is Iodine. You will most likely not find Iodine in any other multiple. Deficiency of Iodine is a major cause of Thyroid disorders. Good majority of the population have a thyroid disorder without even knowing it. Thank god this multiple also had B12 which has corrected my deficiency which i was unaware off. It also has vitamin D3 along with vitamin K. The K vitamin has to be present for your body to be able to utilize the D. In addition I had to also take large doses of the D3 which I have supplemented with Solgar vitamin since I was severely deficient . As far as Iron goes I got the Floradix Iron and Herbs which has a natural plant extracts of Iron. My last blood test came back perfect and I had to actually stop taking vitamins all together as i have built up on all of them. I have gotten the men's multiple for my sons as I know our diets do not have enough vitamins to keep us healthyVer másVer menos

The best vitamins on the market!
I’ve been taking Dr. Fuhrman’s vitamins for 7-8 years. They are the only multivitamin I will take! Yes, they are very expensive, but his formulations are made from high quality ingredients and well worth the price. The suggested dosage is 2 capsules per day, but I have an incredibly healthy diet so I feel comfortable taking just one capsule per day. That way, one bottle lasts twice as long.Ver másVer menos

Good vitamin
When I take a multi I always get shaky, feel sick, annoyed, irritated, etc…. It came to a point where I stopped taking any type of multi. I don’t do well with folate especially. I’m glad I found these. I took Dr. Furhmans women’s multi & noticed I felt so much better along with eating his way. I knew I was lacking b12 and a couple other vitamins. This fills the gap for. I feel more energized. Not jittery. It’s an even keel energy. No nervousness or heart racing. This is the only multi I can tolerate. It doesn’t smell or irritate my stomachs. I’m very very sensitive and Glad I found this multi.Ver másVer menos

I read Dr. Fuhrmans book and liked what he said about multivitamins- especially avoiding brands that have excess minerals that can be toxic to your body. Here's from his website:100% veganMaitake mushroom extract may support breast healthTaurine may improve athletic performance in physically active womenFree of potentially harmful toxic ingredientsFormulated from the most current scientific research availableContains the optimal amount of vegan vitamin D3Whole-food derived nutrientsWhole food extracts including kale, acai, watercress, and goji berry, have been added to supply additional phytochemicals and maximize the antioxidant benefit of the supplement120 vegan capsulesManufactured by a GMP certified and FDA-regulated facilityNon-GMOPackaged in post consumer resin (PCR)I have noticed an increase in my energy level after a week of taking these, but I believe this usually happens to more active women - the most exercise I get is running after my toddler lol. I would say that the only downside to these is that they are pricy, but I'm fine spending the $ on vitamins formulated by a doctor who bases it on scientific evidence of what ingredients work or don't work. Another challenge is that these vitamins are *huge* but they're in a gel capsule which makes it sealable. Highly recommended!Ver másVer menos
