A Fun Climbing Toy My Birds Actually Use!
This rope ladder was a great addition to my birds’ cages. It’s sturdy, easy to hang, and gives them another way to climb, perch, and explore. I love adding different textures and activities to keep them mentally stimulated.I have parrotlets, a cockatiel, a budgie, canaries, and finches, and several of them enjoy climbing on it and using it as another place to perch. It also doesn’t take up much space, so it’s easy to fit into most cage setups. For the price, it’s well made and has held up nicely. If you’re looking for an affordable way to add enrichment to your birds’ cage, I’d definitely recommend this ladder.Ver másVer menos

Wood ladder for parakeets
These wood bridges are loved by parakeets. They play on it, nibble the wood amd the rope through out the day and at night they love to sleep on it. As you see I have mine across the top of the cage. Definitely will be buying again when they have chewed this one up pretty good they love it!!Ver másVer menos

BEST NONTOXIC BIRD LADDER!
Sadly our birds wings were clipped, so she has a hard time getting around the cage. But this is perfect for getting her up and down. She actually sleeps on it sometimes! She is so adorable when she goes up and down on it! I don’t have a picture of her on it but this is her next to it.Ver másVer menos

Pretty ok overall
My bird ended up liking it even though they struggled to balance it at first. It does wear out eventually and it's a little difficult to clean. The length wasn't the best fit for my bird and it was hard finding a place to put it due to that. Didn't have a problem with the smell in the packagingVer másVer menos

Great deal, nice ladder.
Got this as an Add-On deal & was quite pleased with how nice it is, that I'm back for another. Prevue Hendryx products are almost always very well made & pet birds enjoy them. I have been buying their cages, cups & toys since circa 1983 & it's great to find their items for bargain prices on Amazon. While I have seen other comments say that they use this for conures & other somewhat larger birds, I wouldn't feel comfortable letting my Nanday Conure near it unless I am expecting it to be torn, shredded & eaten as she is notoriously destructive. I intend to use this for a pair of English Budgies & my younger cockatiels. I like that if they do shred up the rope holding the ladder together, I can easily put it back together with new rope/string, perhaps with beads, bells & other things to entice them to play on it.Ver másVer menos

Good ladder, but timid budgie won't use it
Looks nice. The rope is not white, it is brownish and 'hairier', like natural material rope, not the polished kind. I had no problem with the product or the rope used in it - I like it - however, my budgie was scared of it (surprise surprise!), and did not walk on it or peck at it, or engage with it any way. He did look at it confused for a bit, trying to calculate the purpose of such a strange object, nay - contraption - in his cage. After a few days novelty of it wore out, and he did not even look at it much, he just ignored it. After a couple of weeks I took it out of his cage. I did notice he pooped on the ladder, but I am not sure I can count that as a review of the product. Overall, there is nothing wrong with the product, but if you have a timid little bird who will bend over backwards to avoid a piece of banana being offered to him (or her), bringing this ladder into his cage might not be a milestone where he finally realizes that you are not trying to "get him". I was wondering what would happen if I took out some of the 'vital' perches and put the ladder instead.. I might try that. I try to change a set up in his cage often as to avoid him getting bored (although his cage door is open at all times and he could come out any time - he did a few times), so if he would build some courage I think that ladder would be a nice addition to the cage. It will take some work though.. Hope this helps!Ver másVer menos

bird brain.
i like this product, price is great, the only reason i rated 3 stars is my bird hates it. literally wont touch it and will go all around it to avoid touching it. my bird is a jerk so probably just snubbing me for daring to change his cage layout. if he starts acting right and enjoying his new perch i will update the review.pros: great qualitygood priceeasy to installcons: bird brain seems to think it is the devil. Or maybe a cat.Ver másVer menos

Great Rope for not just birds but small critters too!
I actually purchased this for my small rat and this is exactly what I was looking for! He loves to play and run and my goodness was he eager and excited to try it out! He immediately enjoyed running back and forth and leaping off of it onto his hammocks. Needless to say I’m very pleased with this product, not only is it well made and durable, it’s great enrichment for small little creatures too. My only suggestion (if you are using it for perhaps a little critter like myself) would be to twist the 2 pieces of rope individually that the silver clip is attached to, leaving no gaps in the exposed rope for any little toes or heads from accidentally getting stuck. Once you twist the pieces and attach them back onto the clip and then attach it to the cage, you don’t have to worry about it unraveling and your little critter is safer. Aside from that (which I maybe the only person out there who had this issue or concern due to higher energy critters but wanted to pass on just in case!) this is a great ‘toy’ for our loved ones!Ver másVer menos

Looks nice but...
I like that it’s nice looking, big and sturdy. Mine wasn’t chipped it was in perfect condition but my budgies chewed on it and broke it apart a week after even though they have lots of chewing toys in their cage
