Epson S042079 Premium Luster Photo Paper, 3" Core, 16" x 100 ft, White | Envi

What a great find! Studio quality professional photopaper at a great price.
This paper produces stunning studio quality photos. I am just amazed that these days we can print great photos at a comfort of our home. I am using Epson ET-8550 and have been very happy with the quality prints it produces on this paper. I stopped buying expensive school photo packages (that just sit in our closet anyway). All I do now is purchase the digital portraits from school photographers and print our own sizes when needed. One thing to note, this roll is not exactly 16" wide, it is shy just a bit, but my printer doesn't care and neither do I. For those who wonder if the roll has a logo on the back side.... YES, there is EPSON logo throughout the back side of this paper. Now that I print my own pictures, I was going to get this type of paper regardless. The choices were to get this roll or spend just under half as much for only 50 sheets of 8.5"x11" or spend $20 less and get only 25 sheets of 16"x11" size. Financially, this roll is best value, no doubt. Even though I have to spend time cutting this by hand, I can maximize the amount of photo prints using this 16" width. If I cut an 8" strip, I would get a nice 8"x10" photo with a 8"x6" leftover that I can split into two 4"x6" prints. No paper waste. But the best part, I am not limited to small prints. My printer can handle borderless 19"x13" and I am really excited to try this large format. Currently, 50 sheets of 19"x13" cost more than this roll.I am just so happy I found this roll, it is awesome! If you print a lot and can afford this upfront, get this roll.Ver másVer menos

Amazing paper!
Wow, this paper is amazing! I know it says its roll paper, but still, I can't get over how well its rolled. And it comes taped so it doesn't unroll! 🤯The paper is perfect for large landscape panoramics, but its not magical, and your prints will likely still suck because you didn't hold your camera level or use a tripod, didn't check your histogram and blew the exposure, forgot to focus before pushing the button, chopped the top of Carl's head off with your framing, left a bunch of trash cans and people bending over in the background, and shook the camera. Its paper, not a magic freaking wand. You failed, not the camera or the paper.Ver másVer menos

Very good standard paper for color prints
Epson Premium Luster is my go to paper for standard color prints. It's a good solid paper with a nice weight that handles well. The texture is smooth but not glossy. I buy the paper in a 100 foot roll with a 16 inch width. I also use a box of this paper in 8.5 x 11 inch size for proof prints. I'm using this paper with an Epson 4900 printer and have been using it for about 4 years. The paper is very cost effective if you buy it by the roll and shop around a little.Ver másVer menos

My "Go To" Paper
I do fine art photography and this is the paper that I use for maybe 90% of my prints printed on my Canon ipf6300 printer. If you use a non-Epson printer, be sure to obtain the Epson paper printer profile when making your prints or you will likely be disappointed with your results (this goes for ANY paper printing fine art on another brand printer).Refer to the many articles on the Internet regarding paper printer profiles for directions. Prints come out very sharp and with good saturation and contrast on this paper. The only caveat is that there is some reflectivity with this paper (since it is NOT a matte paper) so where you hang your print will be a factor in how it will look.Ver másVer menos

amazing!!!
Just finished up a roll of this and wow!!! 100% satisfied in every way. I love that I can cut 8 x 10's 11 x 14" didn't do a 16 x 20 yet but maybe in this next order I just placed!! Only trouble I've had and I think it's from cutting my own from the roll which I'd highly recommend for the versatility but back to the problem. I get a smear in the right corner sometimes, I think it's from it "curling" since it's from a roll and not exactly what it was intended for but so glad I can do it. I'm using the Epson 3880...I often thought the paper must have been hitting something inside the printer but I really doubt it. Usually if it does smear in the corner on a 11 x 14 the area is small enough, usually that the matt hides it. I'm considering cutting a few when I know I'll be printing and possibly lay flat on my wifes quilt cutting board which I use to cut it on along with a quilting "rotary" cutter, placing it under something for a day or so...we'll see if that takes care of it;)Ver másVer menos

Epson is on a roll!
Great performance for the price. Excellent saturation and contrast without feeling too plasticky. I still use a smooth velvet for fine prints, but this is my everyday go-to.

An excellent paper for large photos and posters
I can't say much other than it is an excellent product with true to life images in the right printer and nowadays, there is no "wrong printer".We use the Epson Stylus-Pro 4880, and although the ink cartridges are very pricey, the end-result is always satisfactory. With Kodak possibly on the way out, Epson paper may also be one of the few choices left.Ver másVer menos

Great Quality, Saves Money!
Love this photo paper! It's great quality. Comparable to staples or canon photo paper in luster. I've been cutting 12x22 inch pieces from it to print 10x20 photos for frames I have. I use my Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer. On that printer I could print up to 14x26 I believe. It works out to really cheap, less than $2 per print for the paper + ink costs.Ver másVer menos
