  Great shoes!

I ordered a narrow as I have a rather narrow foot; however, while the length of the shoe is perfect, the width is too wide. If I tighten the strap across my instep to the tightest hole, it's too tight against my instep. However, I have a little higher instep than normal. The footbed comfort is awesome. My feet never get tired in these shoes. I'm planning to try either the felt or a suede in the same style in the hopes that the material/leather will be soft enough to allow for my higher instep so that I can have the buckle on the tightest hole. The only reason I gave these shoes 4 stars rather than 5 was the width issue. If you have a medium width foot, I would think the narrow would fit fine. I need to update my review since I've now worn these clogs for a week or two. The leather which originally was quite stiff, is now more broken in. So I can now tighten the buckle to the tightest hole and these shoes now fit well and I'm not walking out of them. Yay! If my feet are tired from wearing other shoes, I find instant foot relief when I slip into my Birks. I thought my Crocs were comfortable, but these Birks far surpass the Crocs in comfort and provide much more support for my feet and arches. I love them and have already ordered another pair in gray wool felt.Ver másVer menos

Gorgeous, Comfy, & they fit wonderfully!

I had been looking around trying to find a deal on these. I originally ordered them (for $80-something) from a different website and accidentally ordered the wrong size. When I realized my mistake I called them and they were sold out in the size I needed. I absolutely simply could NOT find them ANYWHERE online. Eventually, randomly, I searched on Amazon.I was shocked to find them here!! Of course, they had them listed at their full price of $130 which I really didn't want to pay, so you can imagine my delight when I saw them listed for $52-something under "Used & New."The pair I got was listed as being in "Used - Very Good" condition, with the description saying that they showed minor wear like they had been tried on but not worn. I decided to risk it.1) These things got here SO fast. We actually ordered my husband a pair of Birks from another sight online. Despite having ordered his a good week or more before ordering these, mine got here only ONE day after his!!!2) They don't look worn at all!!! The soles are perfect, there are no signs of wear really that I can see at all. Heck, the actual shoe box was still closed with a Birkenstock sticker & the Birkenstock tag was still on the shoe.Sum Up - LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Highly recommend shopping from here and, believe me, I will be checking back here FIRST when I need my next pair of Birks!!Ver másVer menos

Classic Comfort with a Few Fit Considerations — Still a Reliable Choice

I bought these leather clogs for my husband, and they’ve quickly become a favorite for casual wear around the house and running errands. The leather is high-quality and softens nicely over time, molding to the foot for that signature Birkenstock comfort. The cork footbed provides excellent support, making them ideal for long periods of standing or walking. The style is timeless and versatile, pairing well with casual outfits without looking sloppy. The only minor drawback is sizing as it can feel a bit snug at first, especially across the toe box, so a break-in period is necessary. Once worn in, though, they’re very comfortable and supportive.Overall, these are well-made, reliable clogs that deliver the comfort and durability Birkenstock is known for. These are a great buy for comfort, craftsmanship, and classic style, with only minor fit considerations to keep in mind.Ver másVer menos

Practicality trumps fashion when it comes to my feet.

Ok so they’re not the cutest, ok maybe their downright ugly, but boy oh boy do they ever make the feet feel good!I have been a Birkenstock user for 30 years, generally getting a new set of Arizona’s every ten years or so. I have always longed for a pair of Boston’s for colder weather use. But I never could justify their cost. Well… my timberland clogs were at the end of their useful life and I needed a replacement. I tried a number of different clogs but none even came close to the usability of the timberlands. Knowing that I could always go to the Birkenstock Boston’s as a last resort.I finally reached that point but was able to found these in the exact style I wanted AND for under one hundred dollars on amazon, which is alone amazing. When the little smiley box arrived I ripped open the box and I put them. My feet felt like they were at home, and the smile was now on my face. I am use to Birkenstock’s so I know that I have to break them in, which I am doing slowly. Based on my experience with the Arizona’s I am assuming that I will get 10 to 12 years out of these guys easy. They’re not as rugged as my Timberlands but until I can find a new pair of timberlands, these will more than work for me.True Birkenstock fit, great price, quickly shipped, received in good shape. Highly recommend shoe and seller!Ver másVer menos

  Very comfortable

Highly recommended, these are very comfortable and the fit is perfect. I ruptured my plantar fasciitis and these were recommended by my doctor to help with scar tissue that was bothering me. I have to say being on my feet 12 hours these help.

  Birkenstock Saves My Feet

I have pain in my metatarsal (forefoot) area; the older I get, the more padding I'm losing. A podiatrist recommended I always wear shoes with support, even at home. I used to wear slippers with some padding but that just doesn't cut it anymore & I think it led to damaging my feet. Birkenstocks were suggested & since I've owned a pair of the sandals for about 10 years (!), I decided to give them a try as my at-home shoes.I've been wearing them for about 6 months now, every day as soon as I get home. They have made a huge difference in how my feet feel. The metatarsal pain has not gone away completely but it is significantly diminished.I like this slip on/slip off version because it's more like a slipper. They are also pretty much non-marking although you can leave a light mark on a floor if you turn really fast. The mark is easily wiped off with just a damp cloth; no scrubbing. These shoes wear really well. I tend to be a "stomper" & a fast-walker but these shoes can handle it.I normally wear size 7.5 (US size). My feet are average width. The 38 M (EU) fits me perfectly. My toes can wiggle & I can wear thick socks if I choose. There is some break-in time with these shoes. The heat of your foot & your weight will form the cork to your feet. If you've ever tried on someone else's Birkenstocks, you'll know what I mean. Some people have trouble with this & should wear them for a few hours at a time until broken in. I did not experience any pain with my break-in period. You can have these shoes resoled, the liners replaced, etc. at a good shoe repair shop. People love their Birki's & hate to throw them away.I bought 4 more pair of Birkenstocks since I bought these….I have 2 pair I only wear inside my house & 2 pair for running errands/casual wear. They are worth every penny they cost! Your feet are not replaceable so take care of them before they cause you pain.Ver másVer menos

  Too narrow

I wanted to like these but they are NOT for wide feet! They especially arent wide in the arch area, toe box is decent but arch width, not at all. High quality materials and apparent craftsmanship though. After a substantial break-in period they should last a really long time (havana leather model).Ver másVer menos
