A Beautiful Introduction to Salvador Dalí (Perfect for Coffee Tables or Curious Minds)
This is a great starter book if you’re interested in Dalí (Basic Art) or just want to dip your toes into surrealism. The layout is clean, the reproductions are vibrant, and it gives you a solid overview of Dalí’s life, influences, and most iconic works without feeling overwhelming or academic.I really appreciate how approachable it is. You can flip through casually for inspiration or actually sit down and read the commentary. It explains his artistic evolution in a way that feels human, not stuffy, and the images are sharp enough to enjoy the details. It’s not a massive deep-dive (so hardcore art historians may want something more comprehensive), but for the price and size, it’s a fantastic introduction and looks great styled on a shelf or coffee table.Perfect if you love art, want to learn more about Dalí, or just enjoy having visually beautiful books around the house.Ready for the next one 🙂Ver másVer menos

This is the best Dali book for the money
The book does a great job of showing the overall progression of Dali's works through his life, tying them to the people who influenced him. The text is excellent. The plates (images) are nice and large but are limited in two ways. (1) The colors are a bit muted and lack some of the brilliance of the original art, but this is expected in a low cost book, and (2) The largest works are in the crease to cover two pages, instead of being in a fold out sheet like they should be. The low cost makes up a bit for the shortcomings. Even though I bought this for the images, I ended up appreciating the text more than the images.Ver másVer menos

Recommend the book.
After reading "The Secret Life of Salvador Dali," this book was more acceptable to read and learn about him as an artist. Regardless of his big ego etc., he was an excellent surrealist painter. The book has good glossy photographs of his paintings along with explanations about them.Ver másVer menos

Gran calidad y mejor precio
