Beautiful artwork, awesome story, great value
I had not read any Lovecraft prior to this, but wanted to once I learned that he was the creator of Cthulhu. After reading other reviews and seeing that this version was true to the original text, it seemed like a perfect entry to Lovecraft.This book was just what I expected if not better. Not only is the artwork fantastic, but the ideas and writing are also incredible and interesting—much deeper than I expected!The book itself is small, but appropriately sized. The majority of the book is in black and white, but there are several vivid images with color throughout that are just gorgeous.I would highly recommend, and definitely feel this is worth the price. I also purchased the other paperback texts from this series, and they are all the same size—perfect for my bookshelf. The hardcover “At the Mountains of Madness” is slightly larger than the paperbacks.Ver másVer menos
