A must read for mothers and adult daughters!
This series is excellent and thought-provoking. It has the potential to be healing too. It presents both sides of the story, intent, and consequences of perceptions wonderfully. I found it very thought-provoking. I will be recommending it as a read to each of my daughters!Ver másVer menos

Awesome
This series of 2 was so very interesting! I allowed a good friend of mine to borrow it but this is one I will read again! Spans several time periods and has great characters and stories.

loved it!
I loved this book. I was crying, sad, mad, frustrated and happy. Had me guessing what the legacy was exactly but it was a great surprise finding out what it was. I could not put this book down. I have this book five stars because right where it could’ve ended, it didn’t. It went on to what you would call a second ending and helped you find full closure in the story of all characters. What a wonder it is to find out you are truly loved. Oh the importance of telling someone you love them! Recommend this book 100%Ver másVer menos

Amazing!
This author writes about life in a way that brings me to my bible! It is heartfelt and sometimes I've had to reflect on my own life! Growth in my Faith! Opening my bible more often in reading her books! Sometimes I would ask myself Is this written just for me! Lol Opened my eyes and heart and also my Faith in Jesus!Ver másVer menos

Couldn’t put this down….
Her Mother’s Hope was an amazing book. I read it in a few days. Which is fast for me. Couldn’t put it down. This is my second book from Francine Rivers. I’m going to start book 2 tonight. Fabulous. Cried last night reading. Beautiful. Thank you, Mrs. Rivers.

Love everything by Francine Rivers!
I love all of the books I've read by Francine Rivers. Her stories are captivating and I've falling in love with all of her characters. This story is a little harder to read than some of her other ones. The drama and relational tension is unnerving at times and causes me to need to put it down to take a step back, whereas I normally don't ever want to put down her other books and I'm sad when the story ends! But nonetheless I still enjoyed it very much.Ver másVer menos

Amazing 2 book series! Love this author
What an amazing author! I first read Bridge to Haven and found this 2 book series. It will have you laughing and crying as you dive into reading.A historical fiction set that takes place in California. I grew up in Sonoma County and it was a kick as Francine went into great detail about familiar locations. It's easy reading and will make you want to read more of her books.Ver másVer menos

Wonderful
I've never written a commentary on anything, but this series on mothers and daughters has moved me. Francine Rivers is an excellent writer. She is so aware and in touch with the human spirit; good or bad. Pulling from God's holy word; she acts as a translator to convey and share what Christ wants for us. As a mother of two daughters, I found the relationships compelling and likely so common to all women and girls alike. Long story short, have trust the Lord in ALL things and not in what we perceive to be truth. Keep the faith and enjoy the blessings God has for everyone of His children who seek Him.Ver másVer menos

Another Wonderful Story by Francine Rivers
Wow! Wow! WOW!! I love Francine Rivers’ stories; but this is definitely one of my favourites!!This is a beautifully crafted story, over 2 novels, spanning almost a decade; filled with joy, adventure, bravery, deep sorry, misunderstanding, love, hope, faith…The characters are deep, well developed and so real and life-like… They have strengths and weaknesses; and sometimes what they believe are their strengths may not be! (Aren’t we all the same!!) Their interactions and relationships are very realistic. It is a wonderful way to see how our past experiences affect our decisions; how are best intentions can lead to hurt; how we see things differently and hurt and misunderstanding those we love most.I would highly recommend these two books. Beautifully written, thoughtful and inspiring. Like every truly good book, they leave you with lots of food for thought!Have lots of tissues to hand!Ver másVer menos

Mother/daughter healing
These are so well done. Every mother/daughter should read this series. There’s relationship restoration in these books. You totally understand each woman, in each generation, and why they’ve chosen what they did - right or wrong. In reflection it has helped me see my mother and her choices, and mine with my own daughter. Packaged in a box set is great. I’m giving a set to my daughter and daughters-in-law for Christmas.Ver másVer menos

A lot in one series!So many real issues and relationship difficulties, I love how Rivers is not afraid to bring these things into her books and deal with them through the eyes of God's grace and unchanging love.

Francine Rivers books
Francine Rivers - the best Christian/romance author. The above is a book series that is a must read. All Francine Rivers books have a poignent message about love, redemption, forgiveness, mercy and grace (which we should all try to live by). This story set in the times of modernity to present time reflects Gods message in every facet of its writing. I would suggest that only her most famous bestseller, Redeming Love, could outshine this book (and possibly Leota's Garden and Masterpiece and a Bridge to Haven also come close). But everything Francine Rivers has written is exceptional. Francine Rivers is blessed by God and I cant wait for her next book (sometime this year I understand and hope)!Ver másVer menos
