A lovely story about faith, hope, and love
After reading Her Mother's Hope, Her Daughter's Dream really brought the story together beautifully. Francine Rivers weaves such rich stories with vibrant characters in gorgeous settings. I love the historical events interwoven seamlessly through all of Rivers' writings. If you haven't dived into Marta's Legacy series, please do. But begin with book one. Her Daughter's Dream
This book was a perfect ending to it's sequel. I could have read this story forever. Francine Rivers is one of my favorite writers, and this book does not disappoint. A must read.

Her daughter’s dream
My name is Hannah and I am 12 years old. The first Francine Rivers book I read was a lineage of grace and I loved it. Then I read the first one and it was great. Thought Francine's book always include some love things and physical descriptions there is one in this book that was a little too much for me. I was reading before bed and it made me cry so much I went to look for my mom. It’s a great book for mothers and daughters to read together or by yourself too but I think it’s not great for younger girls. If your child already knows about some things and is experiencing some changes it will be more likely she understands though I still think some things the parents should read with them and explain. Apart from that I loved the saga it was great to see everything come together and I truly recommend this book for teenage girls and women. I love that River's books are christian and love fiction. It’s really catching and at least I don’t know any other books that I can read about love in a Christian, healthy way. That combination is amazing. This book talk about things that really happen and the things that young women really go through, the sins and temptations it doesn’t lie about the world and how horrible it is. It’s really awakening and I totally recommend it to you. Sorry if this was to long, I hope you enjoy this book.Ver másVer menos

A true-to-life family with issues
This is the second of a two-book series by Francine Rivers. The first one is "Her Mother's Heart." If you are a mother, have a mother, have a daughter, or love any of the above, this book will touch your heart. No fairy tale, these two books are very realistic about the struggles, hurt feelings, misunderstandings and grief often involved in the complicated relationships between mothers, daughters, granddaughters (and those who love them). Although sad in many places, it also reveals why those troublesome relationships are so worth it--the joy and laughter and strength a close-knit group can share.I'm always extra-critical of Christian writing since so much of it in the past was...well, awful. The influence of God in each of the lives chronicled in this story is inspiring and a vital part of this family. As always, Ms. Rivers' writing is so good it fades into the background until the reader is conscious only of the unfolding story without having to notice the grammatical mistakes, typos, awkward sentence structure and uneven character development of many published writers. I read the first book in a single day and couldn't wait to find this one, the second in the series. I highly recommend both.Ver másVer menos

This book will grip your heart, and light a path to prayer
I have loved every book that Francine Rivers has written, and this one didn't disappoint! Her Daughters Dreams (book 2) takes us on a journey of generations of work and their daughters and the mistakes that keep getting passed down from each generation until a great granddaughter finally heard Jesus's voice telling her to reach out to find the answers between her mother and her and her grandmother, with Jesus being the one that helps her the dots and helps them all to see what was always there.Ver másVer menos

A Great Book
Loved it Easy to read and easy to relate to. But to understand the complete story you really need to read book 1 Marta's Daughter,otherwise book 2 will not make a lot of sense about why and how it all began .If you are a back slider Christian Francine Rivers books has a wonderful way of turning your life back to Jesus .Her books all have a lesson which we can learn from .So glad that I was leant the first book and have read nearly all her books and never felt disappointed.Ver másVer menos

Stunning
Utterly gorgeous and heart wrenching story. An ode to motherhood through the generations. As all of Francine's novels, it feels like this has made a permanent mark in my life and has shown me the love of God in a new way.
