fun family game
This gaming system has been a lot of fun for our family. It was easy to set up, runs smoothly, and has a great selection of games. The controls are responsive, and the graphics and performance are better than I expected. It’s been a great way to spend time together, and everyone enjoys it, from kids to adults. Definitely a great purchase and worth the money!Ver másVer menos

The ultimate "active screen time" for the whole family!
We picked up the Nex Playground during Black Friday and paired it with the 1 year Play Pass ($89), which unlocks the full game catalog. With an 8 year old and a 4 year old, finding an activity that engages both of them can be a challenge, but this has been a massive hit in our household. The "active" factor: what I love most is that this isn't passive screen time (most of the time). My kids are actually out of breath and asking for water breaks after playing a session of certain games (Bluey - keepy uppy is a good one). It’s been a great tool for our kids who are still working on their coordination to practice moving their bodies in a fun, low pressure way. From racing games to fruit ninja, it keeps them on their feet and moving.Game variety and strategy: the "Preschool" collection is fantastic. We’ve spent a lot of time on the Sesame Street/Cookie Monster game. In 2-player mode, it actually requires my kids to work strategically together to tilt seesaws and use springs to sort cookies into the right bins. It’s rare to find a game that builds teamwork and logic for that age group so effectively.Adult fitness: it’s not just for kids! My wife and I have been using the fitness apps, and Zumba has become a genuine highlight. We’re already planning to make it a part of our weekly (if not daily) workout routine. It’s much more engaging than a standard workout video.Tech performance and setup: setup was a breeze; connecting to Wi-Fi, the TV, and redeeming the Play Pass was very straightforward. My only minor note is the motion detection: it works great for two people, but when all four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) try to jump in at once, the tracking can get a little "wonky." It definitely performs best with two active players at a time.Verdict: If you want to turn TV time into an active family experience, this is worth every penny. It’s fun, educational, and a great way to stay moving indoors. Highly recommend!Ver másVer menos

Great family time entertainment
Got this for my kids and grand kids for a together Christmas gift. They love it and we ourselves 50ish year old parents and grandparents love it. Great for older people as well, games have a wild range of levels, easy to hard levels, bowling and gym are my favorites, but there's so much more and they have added 8 new games since the start of the year 2026, with more coming. Good way to stay active with no need for a controller or extra gadgets. Just use your arms and legs, and brain. Camera picks your body up easily and there's no lag, we play with 4 players at same time and it picks us all up with no confusion.good family time.Ver másVer menos

Great for the kids, family, and a fun workout for adults.
My 3 year old and 7 year old love it, our 18 month old wants to play too. The Peppa pig and bluey games were definitely a big selling point for us, and they are fun. However I do wish you could set it to just keep playing the same bluey/Peppa game instead of it going into the next one (it's possible you can and I just haven't figured it out, but I don't think so). I also like the fitness games for myself, not a big fan of zumba type stuff, but I really like the boxing game for myself. It has different levels and time frames you can set it to. And it's not just punching, there's all kind of ducking and blocking too so your really getting a decent little work out that doesn't feel like work. And of course, it keeps the kids moving. My 7 year old has ADHD and ASD, his big thing is tech. We don't want to get him a "regular" game console until he's older (and the toddler won't break it), but this is a really great compromise. He loves the brick blocker, and fruit ninja. I've been having him play a little bit in the mornings sometimes before school to get him out of that foggy-groggy morning head. That and some music on the way to school has really improved his mornings, I've seen it myself and his teachers agree. It's also great that whenever they release new games, you automatically get them with the subscription. And the annual subscription is absolutely worth it. It's also nice if your not sure if it's right for you, you do get a couple games to try out before paying for the subscription. Also just a tip if you have little ones your worried might take the nex and throw it around or something, we put alien tape on the bottom and stuck it on the shelf below the TV, it hasn't moved once. And our toddler is incredibly destructive.Ver másVer menos

Nex Playground: A Game-Changing Indoor Active Play System for Kids and Families
As a special education teacher, I am always looking for tools that promote movement, engagement, and accessibility—especially for children who benefit from structured, motivating activities. I have been using the Nex Playground Active Play System with my 8-year-old nephew, and it has quickly become one of the most effective and enjoyable indoor activity systems I have seen for kids and families. What immediately stood out is how intuitive the system is. Setup was straightforward, and my nephew was able to start playing with minimal adult support. The motion-based gameplay encourages full-body movement without requiring controllers, which is a major advantage for children who struggle with fine motor coordination or become frustrated by traditional gaming systems. From a special education perspective, this reduces barriers to entry and increases independence. The games themselves are engaging without being overstimulating. They promote gross motor skills, coordination, reaction time, and sustained attention, all while feeling like play rather than exercise. My nephew stayed actively involved for extended periods, which is not always easy to achieve with indoor activities. I also appreciated that the system naturally supports turn-taking, following directions, and cooperative play—skills that are essential for both social development and classroom success.Another major benefit is that Nex Playground provides a safe and structured outlet for physical activity when outdoor play is not an option. For families living in apartments or areas with limited outdoor access, this system offers a practical solution to keep kids moving in a positive way. From a family standpoint, it works well for mixed-age participation, making it easy for siblings, parents, or caregivers to join in.Overall, Nex Playground is more than just a gaming system—it is a thoughtfully designed active play tool that supports physical development, engagement, and inclusive play. I would confidently recommend it to families, as well as educators and therapists, who are looking for an indoor movement option that is fun, accessible, and genuinely beneficial for children.Ver másVer menos
