Fun Book To Keep Young Readers Motivated
This book "Inspirational Sports Stories For Young Readers" is a fun book to motivate young readers because it covers all types of sports from basketball to olympic competitors. It has a nice illustration in the beginning of each athlete's story which was a nice introduction for the reader to get to know the athlete before reading about them. Although it says age 8 -11, I would recommend this book generally to children in grades 5-7 because some of the vocabulary words may be on a higher level than some 8 year olds. This would be a good book to read to see which athlete to choose for a report or project because it gives a concise overview of the athlete's life.Ver másVer menos

Great for grandson
Got this for our grandson who is an avid sports player and history buff. Read through it before giving it to him and the stories are easily relatable and easy to understand. A book he will think of when he is on his journeys and needs some inspiration.

His mini-biographies address nearly all sports, an inclusive stance that makes the book applicable to all players. Great book for aspiring athletes
Great book for aspiring athletes. Got it for my sport obsessed kid and he loves it! He’s 5 and he loves reading it at night! Definitely a great book for sport lovers! I love that it highlights the challenges that the athletes faced and outcome after dedication and hard work teaching kids it doesn’t just come on a silver platter for many of the athletes they idolize that no matter what limitation you have in life you can overcome if you work hard.Ver másVer menos
